Installing or Re-Installing Fantastico
Login to your server as root, and do the following
cd /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi
wget -N http://files.betaservant.com/files/free/fantastico_whm_admin.tgz
tar -xzpf fantastico_whm_admin.tgz
rm -rf fantastico_whm_admin.tgz
Now go to WHM, login as root and follow the link
WHM > Addons > Fantastico De Luxe WHM Admin
(scroll down the left menu) and install it from there.
If you experience a problem with fantastico not working while installing scripts from cpanel, then probably you should be checking the permissions for binaries there. It should be “755” for “/bin/tar” and “/bin/gzip”
