No available route<\/li>\n<li>546 &#8211; Email looping<\/li>\n<li>547 &#8211; Delivery time-out<\/li>\n<li>550 &#8211; Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable<\/li>\n<li>551 &#8211; User not local; please try forward path<\/li>\n<li>552 &#8211; Requested mail action aborted: exceeded storage allocation<\/li>\n<li>553 &#8211; Requested action not taken: mailbox name not allowed<\/li>\n<li>554 &#8211; Transaction failed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Extended SMTP (ESMTP) standards<\/h2>\n<p>Extended SMTP error codes are used\u00a0in 3 digit combinations. For example, 4.2.1 is a Temporary Error where the receiving email is not accepting messages for now.<\/p>\n<p>The first number is the email message status.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2<\/strong> Successfully sent the email;<\/li>\n<li><strong>4<\/strong> Temporary problem when sending the email. The email server typically will try to send it again till it reaches retry timeout.<\/li>\n<li><strong>5<\/strong> Permanent or Fatal error. This can be caused by a non existent email address, DNS problem, or your email was blocked by the receiving server.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The second 2 numbers pinpoint the exact information bout the error.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a list of the Extended SMTP error codes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"alert\"><strong>Note!<\/strong> <em>X<\/em> can be a <strong>4<\/strong> or a <strong>5<\/strong> depending on if it is a Temporary or Permanent error.<\/p>\n<h3>x.1.x Codes<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>X.1.0 &#8211;
