DBI connect(\u2019modsec:localhost\u2019,’modsec\u2019,\u2026) failed: Access denied for user \u2018modsec\u2019@’localhost\u2019 (using password: YES) at \/etc\/cron.hourly\/modsecparse.pl line 19

and you are using old cPanel\/Apache 1.3 just goto whm -> Plugins then remove and reinstall mod_security.<\/p>\n

If you have Apache2 installed and mod_security enabled via easyapache3 on cPanel 11 and you get this error, check password at \/etc\/cron.hourly\/modsecparse.pl and you can adjust password of modsec user through whm -> phpMyAdmin -> privileges<\/p>\n
